The development of the legal clinics network is about building partnerships.
Over the past few days, the team of the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine has held several meetings with current and potential partners. All about cooperation and uniting initiatives.
The first was a meeting with a representative of the Swedish Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights Alexandra Ronkina. We have tried to present our network of legal clinics as interested and able to be a regional leader and partner. We will inform about updates.
The second meeting was held with Olena Yalova, a representative of the Coordination Center for Legal Aid Provision . We discussed the promotion of a joint initiative on the systematic cooperation of legal clinics and the FLA system at the regional level.
On December 16, we participated in a discussion of a new concept of Legal Space – it is a portal for organizations working in the field of human rights. This is another meeting aimed to find common ground for filling and using the portal.
And that’s not all. The next day, we spoke again with colleagues from the Ukrainian Legal Aid Foundation. We discussed what needs to be done to be more active participants of the Access to Justice School, which we launched this year with a group of partners.
