Member of the Board of the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine Yulia Matveeva, Ministry of Justice of Ukraine represented by Deputy Minister Ivanna Smachylo, Director of the Coordination Center for Legal Aid Oleksiy Bonyuk, Director of the Ukrainian Legal Aid Foundation Mykola Sioma and Head of the Board of NGO “Network of Legal Development” – signed a memorandum of understanding on the establishment of the Ukrainian School of Practical Knowledge on Access to Justice.

The purpose of the School is to seek, research, systematize and disseminate best national and international practices aimed at ensuring effective access to justice. Thus, the School will unite all providers of the FLA system, both state and non-state, among which ALCU occupies an important niche as a special educational institution in this environment. The school can be an important platform for teaching students and curators of the LC and sharing experiences.
The cooperation that can be established as a result of the implementation of the Memorandum will further increase the recognition of the ALCA and the legal clinical movement.
