As long as this week started, our legal clinical society continued its active work and this time, on 19th of Marchб participants learnt how to use and apply the Instrument for Assessing the Quality Standards of the Legal Clinics in Ukraine.
This Instrument was developed in order to provide peer monitoring of the Standards compliance among Ukrainian legal clinics who apply for such a monitoring.
Three monitors will be engaged in each monitoring group: two representatives of legal clinical community and one external expert from Association partnering institutions: Ministry of Justice Directorate on Juman Rights, Access to Justice and Legal Awareness, State Free Legal Aid system, Ministry of Education and Science, human-rights protection organizations, such as Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union and Legal Development Network, as well as from other organizations.
More than 10 monitoring visits are planned by the end of this year. Each monitoring will be wrap up with a public media-event and the follow-up published report.
