Last Friday, December 23, presetnation of results of project “Human rights certification of regions” was held. This project was implemented by group of activists including representatives of Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union and Secretariat of Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights. Experts from other organiztions of civil society also were involved in monitoring missions.

This project became important for Association of legal clinics of Ukraine. Not only our executive director. Andrii Galai is the coordinator of the project but also legal clinics (in particular, Legal clinic of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University) took part in one of human rights monitoring visits.

It is not the first event of cooperation of legal clinics with Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union during this year. We hope to continue to maintain close ties and work towards common goal.
