The presentation of the monitoring of the activity of the Legal Clinic “Legal Aid”, operating at the Sumy Department of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, in order to comply with the Standards of activity of legal clinics, approved in 2014 at the All-Ukrainian Forum of ALCU, took place in Sumy. The research of four directions of work: organizational, educational, consulting and law-education was conducted from October 16 to October 18, 2019. The monitoring group included: Yaroslav Malyk, head of the monitoring group, member of the Board + Association, curator-academic of the Law Clinic “Protection” of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Yulia Lomzhets, executive director of the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine; Natalia Yesina, human rights activist, executive director of NGO Northern Group for protection of Human Rights.
Yaroslav Malyk, the head of the monitoring group, noted during the presentation of the results that the Legal Aid Clinic had good indicators – 60.45% (out of 100 possible).

Legal clinics are monitored by the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation Initiative “Developing Regional Leadership and Establishing a Coordination Model of the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine”.
