This Saturday, August 31, a working meeting of the Board+ of Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine was held in Kyiv at the Legal Clinic of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
The event was moderated by Executive Director Yulia Lomzhets. She also presented the project “Development of Regional Leadership and Establishing a Model of Coordination of the Association of Legal Clinics of Ukraine”, within which this meeting took place. In particular, the participants discussed the main issues related to the competition for regional development initiatives, as well as the general issues of regional initiatives and the participation of the board in them and proposals for fundraising.
Head of the Association Andrii Galai, together with Yulia Lomzhets, also discussed with the participants which body works more effectively and is the best model of governance: Board or Board+. The next point in the work meeting plan was to discuss the directions of work of the Board + for 2019-2020.
Another important issue of the event was the preparation for the Forum of the Association to be held on October 4-5 in Bila Tserkva.
Later a new format of monitoring was presented. In order to improve their efficiency, it was decided to provide mentoring support to clinicians to address their internal problems.
Communications Manager of the Association Maria Tsypiashchuk presented the new ALCU identity.
Finally, the state of implementation of the strategic plan for 2019 was analyzed and the next Board + meeting is scheduled for October.
